We understand that while starting your fitness journey you all face many issues and one of the topmost is ‘which workout form shall I choose from?’.
Today there are n number of workout forms available in the fitness industry and hence the confusion is pretty much understandable. The confusion and struggle to find the right kind of workout that would suit to your body and most importantly that you would love to do is real!
You all must always choose the form of exercise according to your body type where body type basically includes your bone structure, height, body weight and body stamina.
There are 3 types of body types
Ectomorph - They are naturally lean and strong. They should do strength training to promote muscle growth.
Endomorph - They have higher levels of body fat and can gain muscle relatively easily. They should focus more on fat loss and hence should opt for cardio /HIIT or circuit training.
Mesomorph - They are in between of the endomorphs and ectomorphs. They should opt for strength training may be just twice a week rather than 3/4 times a week.
To cut it short an ideal workout regime should be perfect combination of cardio, body toning and strength training which will suit and work for all the body types.
Along with your body type your interest and your liking is equally very important because it will act as a motivating factor in your fitness journey. If you do something that you don’t like or feel like doing then you will most probably cease doing it and we don’t want that.. right? Hence choosing something which you truly love is important
The next question is how many days a week should I do my workout?
You should do your workout at least 5 times a week if your primary aim is weight-loss and 3 times a week if you want to maintain healthy weight. Weekends must be your recovery period because recovery of your muscle is as important as doing regular workout and consuming healthy nutritious food.
Many woman think that doing household chores will save them a trip to their workout sessions but they might want to think again. As household chores are not intense and long enough to be considered as a form of exercise.
